There is an important MANDATORY camp meeting for 5th grade parents. Fifth grade teachers will be there to discuss camp activities, hand out important forms, and show a PowerPoint presentation. Please look out for information on this meeting to come out in September 2019!
Students do not need to attend, as they will have their own camp meeting.
5th grade students get the opportunity to go to the YMCA Storer Camp in Jackson, MI for 5 days in November. Cost will be broken down into payments *. Students really enjoy this time! They participate in many outdoor activities designed to help build team work skills while having fun. Cabin leaders (High school Juniors and Seniors) are in each cabin watching over them. This camp has been around for many years and many of the local school districts attend camp there. Our fifth grade teachers, Mrs. Haydon and Mrs. Tomasek are the chairpersons for this and will be at camp with the students. * Payment schedule: Will be coming home soon. For more details, see Mrs. Alexander in the office.
